Bigger than his head?

Take a look at the Amaryllis - the flower is almost as big as John's head.  There are three more buds on this stem and another stem of flowers coming up for later!  And it's so tall!

The bulb was a present from Gill.  Thanks a million, it's GORGEOUS!
